How does strength training affect weight loss?

Hiya, I'm no expert. We'll leave that for Banks, lol. But I believe that when you strength train you build muscle. Muscle takes up more space then fat and the more muscle you have the more fat you lose.The more efficient your body is at burning calories. You burn "hotter".
Make sense? I'm sure someone else will give you scientific facts. LOL

again, banks is the best one to answer this but basically, when you increase your muscle mass, you will burn more calories at rest. As far as i know, when you lift weights, you're actually tearing muscle fibers. When these muscle fibers are healing, it burns calories.
