Spinach Question

I tried to Google this but I got so many conflicting reports... I eat spinach for breakfast and dinner, some times lunch too. It is not unusual for me to eat a bag or more during the day. I've never had kidney stones but I do tend to overdo things that I like and I want to make sure I'm not overdoing something that could be dangerous. What do you guys think? Should I tone it down?

    it's mainly water, isn't it ? Can't see a problem personally.

Just watch your Iron levels and make sure that they are not to high otherwise you should be fine.
  • I like spinach too, but I can't say that I'd want to eat it B/L/D. I don't think there'd be much wrong diet-wise; so long as it isn't the only thing you're eating.
Also, as they say, variety is the spice of life. How about a mixing up your leafy greens throughout the day? Hopefully you've got a couple of colours on your plate at each meal, and more than one texture too.

It's also very high in vitamin K. This is not necessarily a bad thing but too much vitamin K can make your blood clot too easily.
