Trying to go Gluten Free

So Ive known for a while I have a gluten intolerence - I cant drink beer without vomiting, bread and past make me extremely bloated and umcomfortable and I also have very low energy, especially at the wknds when I OD on my gluten intake. Ive just ignored it as best possible, mainly the beer part (!), but seeing all the gluten free food about, I think Ive been making excuses long enough!

Ive decided I want to try and get serious with my eating habits as Im sick of feeling rubbish, just wondered if anyone had any tips for the transition and also what anyone doing gluten free had for breakfast as Ive just found out the oats I usually have contain gluten :(

Anyone whos in the same boat feel free to add me, always good to have some support and also check out what other people are eating!

Thanks :)

I'm gluten free. You can find gluten free oats, Bob's Red Mill makes both regular and quick oats that are gluten free. There is also a gluten free beer on the market now. I can't remember the name of it off hand, but google gluten free beer and a few will pop up. The biggest challenge for me was eliminating bread. I love a really great sandwich, but here are a lot of other options out there. Just remember if you go with a rice or potato bread you might need to toast it first. Good luck, you will feel better once you get it all out of your system.
