Canola-good or bad?

I read an article on figureathlete.com I think either that or Tnation. Either way they were saying Canola oil is bad for you. Of course I read that right after I bought a big bottle of Wesson Canola Oil. :grumble:
I googled it up and according to Snopes.com and Mayo clinic it is a good oil. Apparently there was an email circulating a few years back claiming it't not good.

I've also been told that you should not use Olive Oil for frying but this site says that it is safe.
