Question on flour-

I have been hearing for awhile to avoid stuff with white flour/enriched white flour.
Now I'm noticing things have enriched wheat flour. Is this better?

Is there a difference between " Whole grain wheat flour" and "enriched wheat flour"?

    ahh, any type of flour that is enriched usually means processed. Which means all the good stuff has been removed like the germ and the bran. They enrich it to add things back into it, but it's not the same. So to answer your question, whole wheat is almost always better than enriched.

    I believe that whole grain and whole wheat are two different things...but I am not sure. I believe whole grain is better but I'm not sure where I got that info. I would love to see if anyone else has some info.

    wheat is encompassed in most whole grains but not vice versa. Whole grain contains many different grains like wheat, oats, sometimes rye, maybe rice, and usually some barley too. Better? Not really sure if whole wheat is better than whole grain, it depends on what's in the whole grain, both are very good and packed with nutrients.
