Circuit Workouts

On Saturday I worked out with this woman who had lost about 70 lbs and she does her workouts in a circuit. Sometimes I get very bored on the treadmill and I thought this was a great idea.
We did 15 mins on the treadmill, 50 jumping jacks, 50 crunches, 15 more mins on the treadmill, the leg press and leg lift, then 50 more jumping jacks and 50 more crunches.
What is your circuit workout?

I just do Jillian Michaels Ripped in 30 and log it as a circuit workout.0

I have only just started exercising and I have started working with a personal trainer. She has me do circuits as well but they are shorter. And we will do like 3 of one circuit and then move on to a different circuit and do so many of that one and so on.
its almost like a circuit of circuits! hahaha
I do a lot of circuits with squats, front lunges, side lunges, and step ups.
I really like the idea of circuits and would also love to hear about other people's circuits...0 -
I don't really want to look like Spartacus, but boy do I love looking at him.
There are some good workouts on here. Thanks!0 -
Definitely going to fry out some of the workouts in that link, thanks for sharing!
Also, RIP Andy Whitfield </3 He was such a gorgeous man0 -
When I don't feel like driving to the gym sometimes I'll break out a piece of paper and make up my own circuit workout that I can do with just body weight.
30 jumping jacks
12 push ups
12 tri dips <<alternate between the two for 2 min
20 jumping jacks
15 squats
15 lunges <<alternate for 2 min
etc...
It gets the job done and I feel accomplished0 -
Yea, I never really understood how hard jumping jacks are lol. Aside from almost getting punched in the face by my boobs, it was a great workout.0

My circuit workout RIGHT NOW (always changing) (done on a suspension trainer in my bedroom):
Each exercise done for 3 timed sets, 35 second sets, 30 seconds rest:
1. Chinup/Pullup combo
2. One arm pushup (it's easier than it sounds with a suspension trainer, anyone can do it)
3. Plyo lunges each leg
4. Flutter kicks
5. Alternating one arm row
6. Tricep press (called a skullcrusher)
7. Pistol squat (one legged squat)
8. Hanging knee raises0 -

But yeah, I had/have a crush on Andy.0 -
i work with a trainer 1 day a week and we do a variety of exercise that i track as a circut workout. I will jog a lap around the gym, lift some are weights, run again, do some pushups/situps, then weights, then lunges, etc....its different everytime. Keeping your heartrate up is the main goal.0
