Biggest loser or wii fit?

I absolutely hate to run, it's not that I hate it.. In all honesty I am out of shape and can't yet. I am working out though walking a mile a day and increasing my mph.
But I figured if it was fun and encouraging it might be better bec now all I do is get on a treadmill and go... Boring!
Anywhoo have any of you used either one of these? Any tips what I need before buying and is it on for weak beginners?
Thanks for all input I just think it might get my heartrate up more trying to complete the tasks instead of slowing down on the treadmill
;)
Thanks everyone

We recently bought a Wii Fit Plus. It works great for me to get some activity in at home early in the morning without needing to leave the house and can be done at any time. The thing I really like about the Wii is it is all based on sensors, so it senses your weight, balance and total activity including calories burned. It knows if you haven't been on for a day or two. You can also use it to track activity outside of activity on the Wii. It can help set goals and motivate you -- well it has for me.

If you have any other questions, let me know. I love it and it's been great for all of my family.
  • Thank you, I actually got both today and the board I'm just gonna try them both out they are easy ways to burn calories and fun;)
I'll let u know if I need any more advice
    Thanks chic
  • Not sure if I'm too late but I actually have both. The Wii fit is just CUTE. Other than weighing myself and doing the balance tests I don't use it for workouts (I should start) because every bit helps). The Biggest Loser on the other hand, kicks major but. In the very beginning they give you a fitness test, it goes from light warm up, to light exercise, to moderate, challenging and then hard. You can tailor it 100% to where you want to focus on and it's an actual workout. I get out of breath and sweat like crazy. It's definitely worth the purchase. I love it. I prefer it over everything else. and you have a weigh in every week.

Have you looked into the couch 2 5 k (C25K) walking/ running programme. Lots of apps and podcast to help you. As name suggests, it takes you from a complete beginner to running for half an hour ( this us not actually 5K for lots of people). Google it and do a search on these message boards.
