Does anyone else ever experience a 2 -3 lb weekend weight gain? I didnt do too excessive on the calories this weekend, BUT what I ate was not healthy and I drank pratically NO water my weigh difference from thursday - today is 2.5 lbs. Is that just a sodium/ water retention thing?

Could easily be. Drink extra water and get back on track for the next couple of days and you'll probably see it go away.

My weekend eating habits (and water intake) are generally poorer than they are during the week, and I generally see an increase on Monday mornings (2-4 pounds). I also think I weigh more because it's harder to drag my *kitten* into work. :)

It is always possible. I had more salt and not nearly enough water this weekend myself and noticed the clothes not fitting. So crossing fingers that as a chug away on my water today that it goes away in a couple of days. I wouldn't worry so much if it was just one weekend but if your doing it every weekend then I would adjust my activities and eating habits.

I gained six this weekend, it pisses me off so much. Usually I lose it after a few days but sometimes I hold on to a pound or two. It is water retention, just drown yourself in water.

It is so difficult! I did really have a good time on Saturday tho.... a few beers lead to a BLT & french fries which I enjoyed more than the beer! I'm not too concerned it always seems to work itselfout we have to have those days I guess because we have to have the days to get back on track. I just tell myself no big deal and brush it off.... sometimes I let a few cuse words out at my scale lol

Thank you for the encouragement! I have a hard time on weekends in general and I know that is a major cause in my slower weight loss. Its great to see you guys with positive weight loss results and having the same "weekend" issues...
