Fruits...how much do you eat?

Hi! I'm a bit worried because everyday I go overboard in my sugar intake, but it's mostly from fruit I always snack on bananas and oranges...or kiwi. Anyway the only thing I put sucrose on was cereal in the morning, but tomorrow I'm stopping that to see how it goes... the thing is I don't want to consume less fruit, what do you think, should I worry. I know that the body consumes fructose before it consumes sucrose...

I am always over my sugar, mostly just with fruit.0

I ate a clementine and apple this morning and I plan to have grapes for an afternoon snack. I might also add in some strawberries or pineapple with supper...
Honestly, I think fruit is fine - just balance the carbs from the sugar with other foods (ie, peanut butter with the apple would've been a good choice for me, had I had the time this morning to do that).0 -
I'm gonna have a banana right before work and then some cantaloupe and watermelon on my break. I don't even care if I go over on my sugar.0

Fruit is one of my go to snacks. I eat it through out the day. A tasty and sweet piece of fruit keeps me from eating the bad stuff! Usually I have something in the morning, then at lunch or my afternoon snack, and the majority of nights I have an apple with peanut butter.0

Honestly I dont eat as much fruit as I would like because of the sugar. I tend to eat more berries. I love strawberries. I only eat half a banana instead of a whole. I try only to do 1/2 a cup of grapes.0

The general medical recommendation is 2-3 servings per day I think, but keep in mind that if the fruit is large it may be more than one serving. But going over that recommendation is not likely to hurt you unless you've been advice to keep total sugar low for medical reasons, or you eat so much that you create a deficiency in nutrients not found in fruit.
I eat about 5-6 pieces of fruit per week (not counting fruits generally considered vegetables like tomatoes). This is under the recommendation, but I just prefer the taste of vegetables to fruit.0
