Wondering who has done this...as in..upping cals to the what your maintenance cals will be at your goal weight. I am staying in a 3-5lbs window of getting to my goal weight of 127. I struggle really hard on the weekends....and Im thinking I end up bingeing because I stay at my 1200-1250 cal window M-F. Thoughts?

There's no harm in giving it a shot. You may gain temporarily once you increase calories at first though so don't get alarmed.
Try it for a few weeks and see how it goes.0 -
If you're only a few pounds away from your goal, that's probably giving you something like a 50-calorie deficit. You could wipe that out with one extra bite. Maybe up your calories a little but not that much...0

I am already set at a deficit with just eating my 1200 calories. If I eat 1200 and work out and burn 600 I try to eat most of my 600 back. So far it's working. I am down 7 inches in my waist.0

I am at 133...goal is 127-129. I eat 1200 cals a day...and maybe half my cals from running. My BMR is 1336. Maintenance cals for me at 127lbs is 1614.0

I upped mine to 1500 and it was the best thing I did. It keeps me from binging.0

Eat somewhere between BMR and maintenance, and eat back the cals burned from exercise.0 -
Right before I got to my goal I switched to lose 1/2 pound a week rather than a full pound. That helped make the transition a little easier0

There is a MFP Group established with exactly that premise in mind. Not sure how to include the link, but the name, remarkably enough is "Eating for Future You"
Probably worth joining and reading up if you are interested. Lots of success stories there, starting a lot further from goal weight than you are.0
