Weight Loss Goals for Motivation

I wanted to post a discussion about this because I am sure I am not the only one using material things as motivation for weight loss. It is not my reason for doing this lifestyle change (I need to be healthy more than anything!) but use these to keep me from putting that piece of candy in my mouth when I am being heavily tempted.

10 Pounds-Hair cut/color
25 Pounds-New Tattoo
50 Pounds-Spa Day
Goal weight-Brand new, expensive dress that I've been saving up for.

What's yours???

Just pointing out that I don't need to reward myself for hitting milestones. My goal is to feel great and that's the ONLY reward I need.

I wrote a blog on this last week, but I have goals other than just weight loss ( I get bored easily, so I like to change up my goals every couple of weeks) for example, my goal right now is to do the "intense workout" every day for 2 weeks on Just Dance for the wii. If I do, then I will buy the newest version of the game and get new songs!
When I get to my goal weight, we are having a photo-shoot done (50s themed!)
Other goals I have reserved for when I need more motivation: A day at the beach, all new wardrobe (I have clothes for 2 sizes down, so this much later reward), rollerblading etc

Yea, I agree with you all. The emotional, physical and health aspects of it are the most important. But sometimes, I need a little extra PUSH to get past the plateaus, dinners out, lazy no cooking nights, etc.

I get bored easily too, so I have to do something else to make the weeks without seeing a change worth it at the time!

I'm having a hard time coming up with mine! I think when I am completely satisfied with how I look, I will get a tattoo, but that still won't be til I just know. Other than that....I'm working on it! And I don't have money so it's hard.
