Hard to still see progress after weight loss over time

When I first lost weight, I could easily see it when I looked in the mirror. It seems though that it is harder for me to see progress as time goes on. I am wondering if my brain just adjusts to the wieght loss and I end up feeling like I look the same as before. Anyone else deal with this (if it even makes sense)?

I deal with this every single day. What I decided to do is take a picture of my "before" and my "now" and put them side by side. The differences you don't even notice in everyday life really really show.
I've decided to take a new one every month from here on out including taking measurements, weight, and body fat%. This way the very very small changes that are happening i'll be able to see and stay motivated. I was complaining about how i've been doing this for 6-7 months and i don't notice any changes yet.... until I decided to look at them side by side.

Great idea! I'm going to do just that, thank you!0
