I am fairly new to MFP and I have spent a lot of time looking at the forums and I have really learned a lot. I am interested in lifting and I have no clue on where to start. I have never lifted before in my life, but after reading a lot on here, it seems like the way to go for major toning, which is what I am interested in. I'm sick of looking at the scale. I have dropped quite a few inches by watching what I eat and moving a lot throughout the day, along with some form of cardio, when I can, but I really want to tighten everything up.
I'm a mother to a 1 year old and I, like MANY others, have a shortage of time and so I do what I can when I can. I try to use every moment I'm awake as an opportunity to move. I really want to incorporate lifting in with everything else though!
I would just like to have some direction on how to get started with lifting.
Thanks!
