Calorie Burns

Does anyone know if MFP calculates your calories burned according to your height/weight/gender and other specifics? Or does MFP just give a uniform number to everyone for the amount of calories burned for any given activity?

    I think it does it by height, weight, and gender. I have a friend that goes to the gym with me and she is considerably lighter than I am and it always shows me burning more calories even though we doe the same activities for the same amount of time. :smile:
