Early. Gotta do this for the next month on Saturdays for yoga. Never really understood those that like to get up early. Though, when it's in the 100s every day, I can see the appeal.
Husband and I went to the gym last night. Did the cybex for 30 minutes - I need to up the intensity of cardio again, ugh. Also walked a bunch yesterday. Today is the three yoga classes, and husband wants to go back to the gym. Need an inspiring yoga sequence - don't have much of a plan today - just drawing a blank. I could always do the "look, ma, no hands" routine I did Wednesday (standing poses with out arm support).
No going out to eat? I wouldn't make it a week. We usually go out every Fri and Sat. We might even go out for lunch this weekend since it's husband's birthday week (we do a week of celebrations - going out with friends or family). He wants to by an HDTV for his birthday. Oh well, I guess everyone wastes money on different things.
Ok, I'm rambling on because I'm sleepy.
Weekend boogaloo!

Good morning. I wanted to sleep in this morning but the cat would not shut up about 6:30. I threw pillows at her and everything. lol. She was out of water. So I decided I would get up and go run this morning. Then Alex got up, and after that I lost motivation. :grumble: I need to bust a move on cleaning the house anyway. I've got a couple hours worth the work to do.
I've been grouchy for about a month - well for a long time now - and I don't know why. Maybe it's just because it's so stinkin' hot. I don't usually stay in a slump this long. It's not like me. I hope I snap out of it soon.
I did bad last night. We went out to eat. It tasted good and I don't regret it. I'm back on track today and I'll get it together. I think we may eat out with my family tonight but I will make better choices. I didn't even want to tell you all that we ate out last night. I guess I feel a little guilty because I seem so wishy washy.
I'd better get cleaning. I want to get things cleaned that don't usually get cleaned.
Have an awesome weekend!

Looks like getting up early is going around. . .
I quit eating out because I was falling into a pattern of doing it twice a day, every day, and not even an enjoyable meal out with my husband, but a take-out meal by myself. So, I challenged myself to not to do it, mostly to remind myself that I like to cook, and I like to eat the food I make. I'm just trying to focus on the food prep and mindfully eating what I make. Also, for the moment, saving money to spend on the epic road trip has become a motivation.
Today is a session on the elliptical, shopping for food for today and tomorrow and cleaning the house a bit. (I'm having some private students come to the house for tutoring, and it's pretty messy. . .) Also, water and vits.
Take care even if it's raining boogaloo!:flowerforyou:
That's mostly for me, because I hate to walk to the gym in the rain, and it's going to rain any second here. . .0 -
I've noticed the excessive heat effecting many people. A month of 100s will do that.0

Hey Mary, do you know anything about "yoga paws"? I'm debating getting some for my trip so I don't have to bring a mat to do yoga in my rooms along the way. . .
Also, on a side note:
There was a pouring rain thunderstorm that I didn't want to go to the gym in. But, I got dressed, sucked it up and grabbed my umbrella. . .when I got outside, it had stopped raining, and my walk to the the gym and home was dry. Then, about five minutes after I got home, it started pouring again. . . apparently Mother Nature herself approves of my workout regimen!0 -
Never tried the yoga paws. I use a travel mat - it's really thin and folds up nicely.0
