Help-only 4# in 4 months....

48 yr old female, exercising faithfully, even added running, yet my weight loss is minuscule.I have lost 2 # from my hips-1 # from my waist. I have tweaked my calories according to the excel TDEE and BMR chart, would anyone check my stats and offer help? I know for 3 months I was netting less than 1000 the majority of the time-felt terrible-so felt like I was hanging on the the fat.
5 ft 4
176 lbs
Body Fat-42%

I am a moderately active mother of 4, exercise 5 times a week-minimum 40 minutes each time, and recently added jogging-very slow-3.2 mph pace or an 18 min mile

I checked out your diary and here are my thoughts.

Keep your calories at 1200 or above, especially if you are exercising every day. You need the calories to keep it going.

Your carbs are quite high. I would bring those down a bit and up your protein. Protein keeps you full longer and helps rebuild muscle. My Dr. recommends a minimum for women of 20 grams 4 times a day. You should try to get protein every meal to help with hunger.

Thank you so much, that sounds like a great idea-I didn't realize how little protein i eat until I joined MFP! I am amazed how hard it is to get over 1200 cal in every day-good calories I mean.
