Hey guys! I'm brand-new to this, and I wanted to start out strong and keep up that momentum for the next few months/year or so. I have always struggled with my weight, and it got to the point where I would barely eat and exercise like crazy during high school. Eventually, I figured out that I needed to eat, and balance out exercise during my Junior and Senior years of high school. Once I reached college, however, that changed. I started eating out more, didn't exercise as much (other than vigorous walking to classes, etc.) I eventually gained the Freshman-15, and I felt terrible about myself. My parents and family noticed this as well. The weight gain showed in my face more than other parts of my body.
From there on out, it was a pattern. I would envy girls my age who were skinner/fitter than me. That made me go into a phase of depression, and food would comfort me like no one else could. It understood me, to an extent. Sad, but true.
Now, here I am, almost 50 pounds from my goal weight, and I need your help. I need encouragement from those who are on the right track to reach their goal weights and beyond!
I'm excited to join this community, and I can't wait to share my progress with you guys!

Love,
