What is the weight for resistance bands? Wondering because I think I need to add a weight for my exercise portion.

What color band are you working with? The colors go yellow, green, red blue black. Black being the hardest. If you need more work go up a color.0

The weight of the band really depends on how much resistance you are using. A black band with a lot of slack can really be the same weight as a stretched out green/yellow band. Probably the easiest way to compare is to pick up a weight and see how it compares to your band workout.0

The other part of this is not just the tension of the band but how far away you are from the band. You can add tension by stretching the band further out and you can take tension away by adding more slack to it. Better off with real weights, bands don't offer the same stimulus although they're not a bad way to warm-up and get blood flowing into your muscles.0
