My wife and I are watching a recent episode of Modern Family where Gloria walks around Disney World in high heels and kills her feet.

The right shoes are so important for so many reasons.

What's YOUR worst shoe story?!

i have so many... I work in a historic old home converted into Town Hall... I am a SHOE ADDICT.. and LOVE my heels! But sadly... they just dont work on the flooring...

I love shoes so much... there cant be a worst shoe story...sorry!

Years ago I was out clubbing in 5 inch heeled boots and a severe snowstorm hit that shut down the city. I was stuck walking in literally knee-high snow to try and get home. Spent hours in a diner, finally got transit out of downtown and then had to walk another hour in snow from the closest place buses could actually get through and drop people off.

Now when I go clubbing in the winter, I wear winter boots and carry heels in my purse!

I worked for Disneyland for 4 years and I can't tell you how many times that I saw cute little girls wearing stilletos.

I used to always wear awesome heels out to the bars, and then make my boyfriend piggyback me home. Then I got fat. :sad:

Bought some dollar store shoes one time to "save money" Wore them to work. By the end of the day, my heels were bleeding. Not a good deal after all. Fortunately, the most comfortable shoes for my feet usually only run about $40-$50 (New Balance) so I am not out a lot of money on Air Jordans or anything... Comfort over style... AND I don't try to buy $10 shoes anymore either.

The only time in my LIFE I ever spent more than $20 on shoes, I bought some black suede converse... like a week later I had to walk home in the muddy rain.... PFFT

Oh no, wait... somebody gave me these super stiff shiny leather shoes that cut into the back of my achilles tendon ... I only wore em a couple hours but when I took em off one of my feet had a huge blister there. I put a safety pin in it and when I took it out the (water?) inside shot across the room....

Im not like most women. I have never and will never own a pair of heels or dress shoes.......but i do own over 20 pairs of adidas superstars in all different colors lol. Wouldnt say its a bad shoe story....just the fact that im addicted to them lol.
