Hello,
I'm Jacob, 28, from Va Beach. I moved down here for a great computer job in October of 2010, which of course meant sitting at a desk all day. I kinda let myself go while I had my head down in learn mode to get up the ranks at work quickly and before I knew it was around 260 pounds the last time I actually cared to weigh myself at that time.
I made a promise to myself that I would stop neglecting my health and really start to do something about it and to make up for sitting on my butt all day, and by December 4 2011 I hit 200 pounds and no longer had high blood pressure. Since then I've fluctuated between 195-210 and kinda hit a wall. Today I'm at 201, and shooting for around 180.
Anyways don't really know what the community is like here yet. But just thought I'd share my story so far. If anybody would like to friend up for motivation support and what not trying to help me push through these last 20 or so pounds, it'd be appreciated. I'll definitely return the favor and offer any encouragement or advice to help you obtain your own goals.
