Hi,
Thought I'd do what the forum title says and Introduce myself, hi I'm Christine!
My weight has always been up and down, at the worst I was just over 14 stone then after spending far too much time and money on a ridiculous VLCD program I got as low as 9st 6lbs (which while was ok on the BMI scale left me with jutting out bones and everyone telling me how gaunt I looked), I eventually settled out around the 10st 7lbs - 11st mark, a comfortable size 10-12 which I maintained for a good year or 2.
The last couple of months I;ve had a string of holidays/weekends away/weddings/events which means for the first time my weight has creeped up out of my comfort zone again and I'm well into the size 14s BOO! I wouldn't be too worried about it, but I also do lindy hop dancing and am in a performance troop where we are currently rehearsing for a routine with lifts and airsteps... while technically they work on momentum so you can do them whatever size you are, they are a hell of a lot easier if you are smaller and in shape, and the other ladies in the group are all size 8s or lower so I'd like to reduce the gap between our sizes a bit so I'm not just 'the fat one' so here I am!
