Hungrier when sick?

I find that I get so much hungrier when I'm sick than normal. Is that well, normal?

    Your body is working harder so I'd say normal.

    I'm the opposite...I lose my appetite completely and have to force myself to eat in order to get better. I think it depends on what is actually wrong with you too (loss of appetite is sometimes an actual symptom eg flu).
