What is the best pre workout supplement that I can use before exercise that will give me some woooomaaa?

  • What kind of a workout are you talking? If you're primarily strength training with heavy (for you) weights, I suggest looking up some of the threads on Creatine. (I've commented on most of them, it's something I'm familiar with and I like to cut the bs surrounding it).

If you're a cardio person and you're running or doing zumba or biking or whatnot, I don't know much of anything besides stimulants that'll give you that "woooomaaaa". People in the olden days used to talk about an "ECA Stack", being three pills, an ephedrine(ephedra?) pill, a caffeine pill and an aspirin. I'm PRETTY sure most people on these boards would tell you it's a dangerous supplement and not really worth taking unless you want to do short term intense training for a specific event, and even then..

Edit: Yeah, just read up on the ECA stack stuff (haven't seen it around for years). Don't do that. Risk of heart attack, etc.

Caffeine is the only supplement you ever need! Click protein powder + instant coffee right when I wake up can get me through a morning workout. I hate mornings, so that's something.

Pre-workout, you want to eat salty food and water 2-3 hours prior to prevent dehydration.

Supplement wise, I use beta-alanine (3-6g) to buffer lactic acid (I put this in my water and drink during my workout)...it essentially lets me do more volume overall (weightlifting and cardio) and prevents the onset of fatigue/cramping associated with lactic acid
It's not for everyone though, since Beta-alanine can cause a niacin-like flush for those who are niave (I've been using it so long that I don't experience this) and gives you extreme focus (tunnel vision)
