Hamstring Injury?

Morning all! I need some advice on overcoming a hamstring injury so please share. I am two and a half weeks away from my goal race - a relay with some fabulous ladies through the mountains! I was walking up the stairs two nights ago, felt a little pop in my hamstring with some tenderness and today it's stinging quite a bit and travelling higher into my hip.

How did you recover and how long did it take you? Any helpful advice greatly appreciated!

    I did this a couple of weeks ago. I don't know that it got to my hip though. I would stretch it, use a foam roll on it, and applied biofreeze. I still ran just was careful and kept my strides short. I'm pretty much recovered now, 2 weeks. Take it easy with hammies though especially so close to your race. At this point if you are really concerned you could just rest until the race.
