hummus

in the spirit of total laziness, I just buy plain hummus and then add different spices or sauces in order to give it a different flavor... then I just add up the calories in the hummus and the sauce- a really yummy one I made was by mixing chipotle marinade into plain hummus- smoky and spicy and so good. the marinade is like 50 cals per tbsp, so not too much higher than the plain hummus alone:flowerforyou:
i have also had good results mixing in basil (pesto-ish flavor)
garlic (obvious)
tarragon (has a sweet herbal flavor)
and basalmic (sounds weird, but I liked it)0 -
