workout schedule is ruing my breakfast time

I know some folks would rather skip breakfast but I just LOVE a good breakfast in the morning. I can't just do toast and coffee. I enjoy a 70 calorie waffle, a scrambled egg, fruit and coffee (just an example). With my work schedule and childcare schedules as a working mother, the only time I can exercise is early in the morning (6 to 7 am) and then i am out the door to work with no time to sit down and enjoy breakfast.
I thought about maybe bringing food with me to eat at work but not sure how to get the same quality meal. I do not like frozen meals. I thought about packing some grits and taking it to work with a hardboiled egg...I don't know.
I do know I am famished after an intense workout and super thirsty. If I skip breakfast, I don't feel right.

Do you have a toaster and a microwave at work? Toast your waffle at work and bring an egg, which you can scramble in the microwave! Just whisk egg, microwave for 30 seconds, stir, another 30 seconds etc until egg is scrambled. I scramble my egg whites in the morning like this.0

Great idea....I like to bring greek yogurt, cheese and fruit for breakfast, along with some granola. I don't have t cook it, and it fills me up (i eat the cheese while putting all the other stuff together...LOL)0 -
I am faced with this same problem. Rushed mornings with a toddler and an early morning get out the door time...I often find myself eating breakfast in the car. I fill my travel mug with hot water (for sime reason drinking hot water keeps me from drinking as much coffee) and my portable breakfast are egg sammys (with veggies & cheese) or a toasted english muffin with peanut butter. And, a piece of fruit. It's portable and does the trick. When I get to work I have a 100 calories granola bar with my black coffee. And, most days I am good until lunch.
I agree with you abotu breakfast and on weekends or holidays when I am home and not rushed in the mornings. I make a nice sit down breakfast.0 -

You could also make it up the night before do your waffle then and then heat up in the morning in the toaster. Do a hard boiled egg the night before and just heat it up or eat it cold. You can scramble it and do the same thing0
