I am in no way a runner, at all. I have to loose 115 pounds to be at my goal weight. I have been exercising but I feel like I need something more because nothing is really working. Is this something I should start? All I have seen are good reviews. Will this help me drop the weight I need to?
Thanks

If you have 115 lbs to drop I would be very hesitant to suggest you start running right away (and I'm a big fan of running) as weight is one of the factors that predisposes people to joint problems and even running using good form is a high impact activity.
In the interim have you considered walking, biking and/or swimming? All 3 are excellent cardio activities and will help you burn calories. Add in a strength component and you'll have a well rounded fitness program; ultimately though the weight loss comes from portion control and calorie restriction.0
