just got a new stair stepper! any tips?

hey everyone! so i'm new to working out and i got a stair stepper on craigslist for $10 bucks! any tips? suggestions? i tried it for a few seconds so far and WOW! its pretty tough! and that was on the easiest setting...sooo any tips n comments i'd appreciate it!

Just keep at it! You just have to work your way up and then it will get easier, before you know it you will be increasing the intensity. I'd say go as long as you can without hurting yourself of course and then go a little bit longer the next day even if its only 30 seconds more. Good luck! What a great find... They're loss your gain, but your loss of weight soon! :happy:

Wow, what a great buy!
My sister lost a lot of weight using a stair stepper....she loves it. And she looks great, too!
I agree with Leash....start small and work your way up to it. Go by the number of minutes you are on it each day....and slowly work your way up so that you don't get injured.
