WOMEN + LIFTING HEAVY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

:love: Hey, ladies! I want to know what lifts you do- the sets, the reps, and the WEIGHT.

Here's my Stats:
5' 3.75"
125 lbs (+/- 3 lbs)
Squat: 3x5 at 150
Dead Lift: 3x5 at 125
Bench: 3x5 at 85
Barbell Overhead/ilitary press: 3x5 at 55
Barbell row: 3x5 at 75

I also do:
3x3 pull ups
3x50 crunches
3x12 hanging leg raises
and sometimes I do 3x5 dips
20 mins HIIT on weight days (or I try to)
10 min jog on my "off" days

    So this thread doesn't feel lonely...I was at the gym at the time this was posted. I just got home.

    I'm still quite overweight and can only see small changes in my appearance...but I'm firm everywhere, and my husband is happy. :love:

    Stronglifts 5x5
    Squats: 55 lbs (cuz my form is still not so great)
    Bench: 75 lbs
    Row: 75 lbs
    Overhead Press: 65 lbs (deloading to 55 lbs)
    Deadlifts: 135 lbs

    Qarol- thanks!

    I've noticed everyone does higher on DL's than squats, but for me its the opposite. I dL 125 and squat 150. y'all got me convinced I should be doing 5x5 on everything. What I actually do is 3x5 at 50% of my max, and then 3x5 at 80% of my max.

    I was given crap at the gym today from a guy for squatting 200. Boo Hiss.

    I try to run 3-5 miles two days a week but that is getting hard to do these days.

    DL: 135 x 5
    Squat: 90 x 5
    Bench: 65 x 5
    Plank: 3 min 10 sec
    Chins & Pull-ups: doing the negative in sets of 5 (usually 3 sets of 5)

    I'm doing RPT (Reverse Pyramid Training) so I start out heavy and go lighter, less to more reps.

    ETA: I usually walk/run about 3 times per week, 45 min to an hr each time.

    I'm entry level in the Stronglifts program - trying to do it right.
    I do crossfit, I have a crossfit total, a crossfit II total... etc...

    1RM deadlift 245
    1RM back squat 185
    1RM front squat 140
    1 RM Strict/Shoulder press 97
    1 RM Bench 110
    1RM Overhead Squat 100
    1 RM Snatch 100
    1 Rm Clean 115 (did a really dirty 120)
    Push Press 135 (from rack)


    However I am recovering from surgery, and I know my last time I checked my deadlift (8 weeks post surgery) I was only able to get 220, and my front squat was 120, bench was 90. This is why I decided to start the stronglifts program, so I can build stronger at a little slower pace than Crossfit pace.
