Completely Lacking in motivation

Right now I really could just use a bunch of motivation. I've been sort of lazy lately, basically sitting around most of the day, watching Netflix, and then at the end of the day, lamely lifting a few weights while I watch the Nationals on tv. (Side note - Go NATIONALS!)

I really need anyone who can just help me every day to get up and stay active. I feel like I might hit my highest weight soon - 180. I'm only like five or six pounds away from that and it's really getting me down. All my life I've been overweight and just in the past six months I've been doing my best to lose the fifty or so pounds I need to lose. If you can help me please send me a friend request! I appreciate everyone who can help!

"What would you attempt if I told you you could not fail."

I think sometimes the fear of getting bigger overwhelms our perspective instead of the goal we're aiming for. And fear always paralyzes. Just remind yourself, you are beautiful and healthy and are going to be even healthier because you CAN do it.

I can't stay in contact because of summer mission trips and jobs, but thought I'd comment!
  • Thanks so much for your comment, molly!! I don't know what is wrong with me. In January I was completely unstoppable but now I've become too much of a "lazy lump".

Sometimes what helps me not give up exercise is remembering the good feeling about it.

I remember feeling good, relaxed and enjoying myself. One very important thing about exercise is that it should be fun for you.

At times when I want to give up I just do online research about the risks of not exercising, burning fat and eating healthy does to your body. There is so much info that will freak me out and keep me on track.

    That is what I do.

If you really want the change you will get it. :)

    You are very welcome!

Thinspo pictures work for me because it gives me an idea of where I want to be. Some people also use fitspo as a way for staying motivated.
