Losing Weight with an Injury

Sorry for the double-post but no one responded when I posted this under the Fitness category...
I recently re-injured the ball of my foot (the part near my big toe)- I'm not entirely sure what's wrong with it yet but it's painful to have pressure on it- even just walking on it hurts- not terribly but it's been getting worse. I'm going to get it checked out soon but I know it will be a while before it's fully healed. The only reason I haven't yet is because I'm in the process of finding a new doctor, since my last one was absolutely awful.
I'm bored with ellipticals and stationary bikes (been doing those for a couple weeks now), and can't always get to the pool. I really, really miss my cardio videos, and I'm supposed to be getting ready for a 5K but the videos (aerobics) and running really hurt my foot.
If I just need to suck it up and deal with the now-boring workouts, I can...but I do soooo much better and stay so much more motivated when I'm having fun with it, especially since it's already a struggle to get up at 5 am to do this before work (the only time I KNOW I can fit in a workout, though I recently started trying to do some relatively light strength training in the evenings).
Any suggestions on different cardio activities I can do that would be low-impact on my foot? I do have access to a small gym and am open to other video ideas, whether YouTube or DVDs. Thanks!
