I've been experiencing pain mostly in my calves. Any idea why this might be? My shins and knees and ankles are fine. Is it my stride?

Could be your achilles tendon if it's in the lower part of your calves just above your heel. I had a touch of it and a good strict stretching program has helped a lot.... and good shoes

Unfortunately me too. I went to a running shoe store and had them observe and tell me what shoes i need so I got those, I strech out before i run or exercise, now i am streching and putting extra cushions in my shoes. It has been happening, oddly enough only in my right calf. Some have told me to ice my calves after i exercise even if they dont hurt. If it does not improve within the next week, I will unfortunately go to an orthapaedic doctor. It could be your calves just need to be strengthened, or if you increased the length of your runs/exertion recently. Good luck, I know it sucks!

My shoes are incredible but my calves are very tight. I currently stretch every second day for 30 minutes but I'm going to add a nice abductor/glute/calf routine on the other days.

    Good advice thanks

It's def. not a strength issues, my calves are massively disproportionately strong compared to the rest of my body.

Try standing with your toes on a step, with your heels hanging off the back. Let them drop down and stay that way for a minute. I always use my stick (https://www.thestick.com/) after every run. Ice baths might help if you're doing long training runs...they are not pleasant but they work.

^This. Sounds like your stretching routine is pretty serious, this could be something you do throughout the day for 20 or 30 seconds at a time whenever you think about it.
