Confused

My daily goal is 1285, today I ended up with this: ate 1319 and exercised calories I burned -202 so my net is 1117. So my ? is if I ate 1319 & subtract 1285 from it then I went over 34 calories which come from the burned calories I worked out. Can I just figure it out like that or does that mean I am way below which is the 1117 Net? I've been totaling what I eat and what I work out & have been eating that. Have not lost for a while so now i've decided to to eat my w/o calories for a couple of weeks to see if it works. What do you think. I'm so confused about the Net and all that. Thanks!
