I was curious about this since I learned that champion hotdog eaters are skinny and thought I'd share the info. Sonya Thomas is only 107 pounds and eats 1 big meal a day. Some people know this as intermittent fasting.

I couldn't find how many times a day Kobayshi eats but I found out that he has a sixpack. I'm pretty sure he eats one big meal a day though.

I read about this a while back too. I remember reading something like its actually harder for a bigger person to eat as much as a thin person in one meal.

Both of the eaters you mention practice intermittent fasting. Its very possible to eat this much and remain very lean. You just have to consume fewer calories on other days to make up for it

I ate over 7000 calories today (although I admit this is much less than both Takeru Kobayashi and Sonya Thomas eat during a competition) with little difficulty and I am a very lean guy.
