So i'm 15 days into MFP and i am already feeling so much better about myself.

I thought i'd face the scales this morning just to see if i've lost any weight and couldn't believe it when i saw i had lost 8lbs!!

Is this normal? i've never been on any weight loss programme before so I want to find out if anyone else has lost that much weight as quick as i have?

either way, i'm so chuffed! :):)

    yep this is possible!

in the first couple of week you do tend to loose more, usually a big number you think cant be right

alot of it is to do with the change in diet, all the water retention and bloating goes down. i like to think of it as your body giving itself a little detox haha :)

your bodies getting used to being all healthy and lovley! it wil perhaps slow down to 1-2lbs a week

keep up the good wor 8lb is still great even for the first weigh in!!

    well done xxx

This-- the weight loss will slow down- Don't get discouraged when it does!! At first, this is always normal. Good luck!!

Yea I lost 10lb in my first two weeks then it slowed right down to .5lb or 1lb. It is just the way it is. I like to see it as your body saying thank you for starting, I shall reward you with this big loss and the rest is up to you :) Well done, keep up the good work.

Well done. Keep going. I am on my second week and think I have lost about 4lb this week and 2lb last week.
