I'm trying to gather some ideas for foods that are not processed. Like ideas for breakfast and snacks and lunches! I'm a picky eater but I know I gotta change my eating habits. I'm ready. I love chicken breast and beef. So any ideas or suggestions would be great!

Thanks ahead of time,
Amanda

Generally I avoid packaged stuff, though I am snacking on bagged kettlecorn right now, lol. My diary is public so feel free to browse, but a typical day may look like this:

    Breakfast:
Whole grain toast (I make my own but you don't have to be that crazy!) with any one of the following toppings: peanut butter, virgin coconut oil, mashed avocado, fresh ricotta cheese
    OR
oatmeal with cinnamon, raisins, a little canned pumpkin stirred in, sweetened by a little maple syrup
    OR
eggs of some sort (poached, over easy, scrambled, or an omelet with vegetables) with whole grain toast

    Lunch:
homemade soup (make a big pot, freeze into portions)
    OR
sandwich/wrap: favorites include hummus & veg, avocado egg salad, avocado and white bean wrap)

    Dinner:
Lots of vegetables, some lean protein or on a meatless night, beans are my meat replacement many times. Many of my recipes or recipe inspirations come from EatingWell.com or Skinnytaste.com both of which websites don't use prepackaged foods or fake diet foods.

Snacks: almonds and plain Greek yogurt are my staples
