Getting back on track from a slip up

Hey all!

So I've had a bit of a slip up- I kind of went on a 2 1/2 week "bender" of eating a lot, having one too many drinks with the roomie and generally being blah about eating healthy. This was technically my summer break as grad classes start up again soon but I stepped on the scale and I've gained 6 lbs from my most recent lowest!

I'm so disheartened but also so committed. I'm wondering if SOME (not all) of this is water weight given I ate a lot of salty stuff and am also due for TOM so maybe it isn't as bad as it seems. I guess what I'm looking for is past experiences of going a little nuts and then getting back on track and succeeding. What did you do physically and emotionally to not feel terrible about the whole thing? How long did it take you to re-lose the weight?

Any insight or advice is appreciated!
