Serious Motivation Needed

I have tried and tried these past few months and I seem to be doing the same circling action that brings me right back to where I started from. Before, I lost 25 pounds and was feeling great but after a year, I gained it all back. I lost my motivation, I lost my self confidence, and I lost my support (if I didn't want to help myself, why should they continue to keep trying to get me back into it afterall?) I need that support back and I want to prove to myself and everyone else that I can get back to my old self. Anyone need support? Let's do this together! I need to do this again!
Things I need:
-*- Weekly Goals -*-
-*- Encouragement -*-
-*- Positive Remarks -*-
-*- People to start the journey all over again with! -*-

I reached my goal last Wed and it took me 49 days. I'll be more then glad to help you with anything you need. This is a great support site and i'm sure together we can all do it. Feel free to add me if you'd like and best of luck!

Thank you Sheila! I really do appreciate it. I had a huge support team on here before who helped me stay motivated to lose those 25 pounds. I was only 15 pounds away from my goal and after taking a trip on a cruise, I fell back into my old ways and then BOOM all the weight came back on to make me 5'2 and 173 pounds. After my as I called it then, "fail", I decided to empty my friends list and try to prove to myself that I could do this on my own. Well, after months of trying, I realized that I did in fact need that support from my MyFitnessPal family. I should have never taken that plunge because it got me nowhere and this site got rather boring because I was only friends with people whom I knew in person rather than the REAL support that I got from people like me who truely were an inspiration! I am hoping to mend those relationships and gain a new family all over again and be motivated the way I was before. It only took me 3 months to lose 25 pounds, I know it's possible, I just need to start all over and it's so frustrating. So here's to a journey with support ROUND 2

The thing that I had to recognize at the end of the day with my loss (which is about 68lbs worth right now) is that I am the only person who is going to be able to make the move. Support is crucial, yes, but motivation comes from within - and the most important motivation is loving and caring about yourself enough to make these healthy choices for yourself whether you see the scale move or not.
I was up to a total of 72lbs lost when I got together with my boyfriend (I was only at the halfway mark at that point - as of today, I still have 78lbs to go before I am at my goal weight, which would still be considered "obese" by some standards)... I gained back about 20lbs. I figured that my boyfriend's affection/love would make up for some of the "heavy burden" of loving and accepting my body and doing good things for it... it doesn't. Not that he doesn't love me - but at the end of the day on this subject... you are the only one who can do the right thing by you.
Funny how it can be such a psychological game for some.
Best of luck!0 -

You are very right!! It is such a psychological game for MANY! I feel sometimes that I have failed but all I need is someone to say wow, you look fantastic! Even though I don't see the difference, just hearing those words make me think, WOW I need to keep going with this because something is brewing here! Thanks for your response!
