eMeals meal planning

I think this may just be the answer I need. I don't HATE cooking but I don't have time to plan menus. So I figured I would pay $5 a month for someone else to tell me what to shop for. I think it will save me a lot of $$. They have low-fat, portion control, low carb, gluten-free, and clean eating plans! Right now there's a LivingSocial coupon to get a whole year for $29! You can also pick plans for certain stores so that they will compile what's on sale. I think they only have Safeway, Kroger, Aldi, and Wal Mart right now; but you can pick the "any store" option.

Anyone tried it? www.emeals.com

I saw the deal but I wasn't sure what it was.

That's not a bad deal for the service, if you need it. For me, it's part of the fun, planning meals, cooking them. Plus, I don't take too kindly to anyone telling me what to do.

We are using the emeals plan right now. It really does save us time. It's also nice because it helps make shopping trips more organized, which for us helps save money. One of the things i don't like is that you can not pick your food 'likes and dislikes' or foods for the plan to leave out. My husband is very picky so it requires a little extra creativity on our part but it works. It does let you pick an overall plan like 'clean' or 'low fat' and if you want meals for a family or for just two. If you have any other questions about it just ask!
