help a gal out here!!

wondering..

in my diary settings, what is the best items that i should be watching in my foods..

i currently have:

calories
carbs
fat
protein
sugar
sodium

just wondering if sugar is something i reaaaaaly need to watch or if something like fiber is more important... i guess i really don't know the MAJOR ones to watch for in what I eat. obviously calories are important, and i am trying to keep my carbs low and protein higher, i adjust my sodium based on the water intake i drink each day...

please help!!
