Too few calories? But I feel wonderful!

Okay, so any input would be greatly appreciated....

Every day it says that I am consuming too few calories, and honestly I average eating around 1000 calories... But I'm not hungry, I'm not sleepy... I am slowly but steadily losing, my weight has stopped fluctuating by 5-6 pounds daily... I do excersize but I don't do anything terribly strenuous. And I feel great!

Am I really not eating enough? I am eating whole grains, exact serving sizes, fresh fruit (apples and pears mostly) fresh steamed veggies. Very little dairy though. And mainly fish and fowl.

My breakfast today was 2 whole grain eggo waffles, some 98% lean applewood smoked turkey slices, some scrambled egg beaters and a cup of no sugar added sliced pears. 350 calories. And after that meal I feel full and happy. All of my meals are well balanced and low in fat and my dinners are small and reasonable.

I don't want to eat more, but I don't want to sabotage myself... What do ya'll think?

I think you're probably fine. I also consistently lose on around 1000 calories. As long as you get enough protein and fat you should be fine. At least that's how I feel about myself :)

I'd start tracking your carbohydrates, fat, and proteins as well as calories overall. You say a lot of what you eat is "low fat" - low fat eating is not necessarily healthy eating.

If you're eating a well-balanced diet, feeling healthy and happy, and losing weight at a reasonable pace, I wouldn't worry..

I think it would depend on your height, but you are probably fine. I would suggest adding a little healthy fat to your diet. Cooking with a little olive oil will add the 200 calories MFP thinks you need, and it's very good for blood cholesterol levels and your skin and hair. But, if you are full and healthy without it, then maybe you don't need it.
