Hey all!

I've just started P90X, and was told to follow a 50% protein, 30% carb and 20% fat for the first month. I'm looking for hints on how to get my protein intake up. I set my goals up to follow this plan, and I have to get in 200g or protein a day for the next 28 days. Any help on how to get that much in would be greatly appreciated! I don't have the P90X nutrition guide to help me out.

Thanks!!

I can't see your diary so I don't know what you are eating.

It was tough for me to hit that 50% goal so I tried to get as close as i could.

    Here are my protein staples:
    Egg Whites
    Canadian Bacon
Beef - the leaner, the better. Bison is super lean, yummy and high in protein.
    Chicken
Fish (pretty high in protein and depending on the fish high in fat - I don't mind this if it is Salmon since it is good fats)
    Cheese
Protein Shakes + plain greek yogurt
    Nuts
And for the first phase I learned to love Jerky (Beef, bison or turkey). Many people will say no to this but I bought the kind that was 100% natural (not artificial colors / flavorings) and nitrite free. Trader Joes has really good prices on their brand.

If you can't get to the 200 gr, aim to get at least 1 gr of protein for every pound of body weight. Today my protein intake ranges between 114 - 150 gr.
