Too much carb in my diet

Options
I need help!

I have a major Carb problem. I can't seem to know how to keep it down. As much as try, I always manage to go out and have a bagel, Subway sandwich or pasta. I need help on lowering my carb. Could I have you guys give me random atternative I may eat that's low (or has no carb)

It can be either to prep at home and bring to work for lunch; or something I could pick up from a fast cascual type restaurant for lunch.

There are good carbs and bad carbs. Try to stick with high quality carbohydrates and pair with lean proteins. When you go out to eat it's a little bit more difficult - but not impossible. Get a veggie or salad instead of a starchy side. If you get a sandwich see if they can sub out with a whole grain bread (if not, eat half the sandwich with bread the other half without). Tell me restaurants that are convenient for you and I'll see if i've been to any to offer you applicable suggestions. Here is my cheat sheet of carbs and proteins that I like to keep with me just in case:

    High-quality carbohydrates:
    Vegetables
    Fruits (fresh, frozen, unsweetened)
    Beans
    Peas
    Lentils
    Brown rice
    Wild rice
    Barley
    Oatmeal
    Quinoa
    Amaranth
    Wheat berries
    Millet
    Kamut
    Whole grain cereals
    Whole Grain Breads
    Crackers
    Whole Grain Pasta
    Couscous

    Lean Proteins:
    Turkey
    Chicken breast (without skin)
    Seafood and fish
    Veal
    Pork
    Tenderloin
    Lean ham
    Lean beef
    Eggs
    Yogurt (fat-free or low-fat)
    Milk (fat-free or low-fat)
    Soy milk
    Cheese
    Beans
    Lentils
    Split peas
    Tofu
    Tempeh
    Soybeans
    Nuts
    Nut butters
    Seeds
