I have been using the MFP suggested calories burned to log my weekly yoga class. But I suspected it to be really low for the type of yoga I do, vinyasa yoga. MFP was giving me about 130 calories/hour (weight=116). So I looked it up on a different website that estimates calories burned and there were options for various types of yoga. I put in vinyasa yoga and got 459 calories. I put in for hatha (gentle) yoga on the same website and got 146, which is more in line with MFP. So, just thought I'd post that the MFP estimates are based on gentle/Hatha yoga. Anything more strenuous, you may want to use this website (also has many other activities as well):

I use a 50-50 mix of Light Calsthenics and Yoga for the P90X Yoga video (90 minutes), which comes out to 385 calories for me at 190 lbs. It is still low, but better than the Yoga entry alone.

I do vinyasa too and was surprised how low the calories burned was for 90 minutes on MFP, at the end I am sweating (and it's not hot yoga) I have an HRM but I won't wear it there because of the beeping of the watch and the strap might irritate me during certain poses and flow movements.
    Thanks for the link
