I went on vacation this past weekend and over-did it and I'm not sure how much. Seafood buffet, breakfast buffet, frozen custard and a couple junk food stops on the way to and from our destination. I was wondering if it would be okay to go below my recommended calories (around 1330) AND exercise (and not eat those calories) to make up for my weekend. Is that possible? Or will my body hold on to whatever I've gained because I'm not eating enough? :ohwell: I think quite a bit of it is water weight, but I'm drinking plenty of water so that should come off quickly.

I would just start the next day new. It looks like your doing a pretty good job. 33 lbs Way To Go!! I sure you didn't gain more than a pound.0

I agree - start new. We all fall off from time to time and you just have to start again. It takes longer but sometines it's worth it to get the cravings out of the way.0

I think you just experienced "life", meaning everyone will have vacations and special occasions. Just pick up where you left off. I bet you don't gain much from this deviation from your routine and soon you'll be losing again. Congratulations on losing 33 pounds.0

i agree! i have had a few weekend trips these last few weeks and didnt always eat the way i should have. come monday morning i was up a pound maybe 2, but by tuesday i was back at the weight i was before i left. if it comes on that quickly it goes away just as quick. dont beat yourself up! just make sure to go right back on track!0

I'm in the same boat - but actually gained 7. Most of it was water weight because after I did hot yoga for 90 minutes yesterday, I was down 4 pounds.
I'm forgiving myself my excesses, or rather restaurant food, and starting new.0
