A little victory...and a setback

Over the past few months I have dropped 8 pounds, really gotten into a good pattern of not overeating and making sure I get exercise. A few days back I had my annual physical and my blood pressure was good, as were my cholesterol (both an improvement from last time) but my weight was up from last year and my blood glucose was 114 putting me into the pre-diabetic category. My doctor told me that he wanted me to lose weight and was pleased at what I was doing so but he wants more. He set my target weight at 185 and felt that if I got down to 185-190 my blood glucose would go back to where it should be. So that's 20 pounds I need to shed as my goal.
It sure gives me some additional motivation.
It sure gives me some additional motivation.
