Has anyone tried 'Curves' and what did you think?

I'm going to join up at Curves tomorrow and I would be really interested to know what people's thoughts on it are before I make the commitment. I know they offer Zumba classes which I know I would enjoy so that's one of the main reasons I want to go there, also the fact it's women only.

I am currently a member at Curves (:
I have lost 21 pounds since i have joined 6 weeks ago
and am happy with it at the moment.
I think it is a good starter gym and the support is amazing
where i am at. The only thing is there are a lot of older
ladies who aren;t really there to work out they mainly
do the motions and talk. But once you get closer to your
weight goal it may be harder to loose weight somewhere like
curves because it is all resistance and not weights.
The hours aren't to great either but i would give it a try
and if you don't like it then try something else.

I started out at curves and after lossing 40 pounds I found it to easy so now I'm taking 90 minutes zumba classes three times a week. I think curves does a body good and would highly recomend the prograhm. I would go 5 times a week and woork out as hard as i could and enjoy a chat with my lady frends. I still pop in from time to time to say hello. Its only 30 minutes of your life, work the machines as hard as you can and get strong and healthy. I decided to lose 1 pound a week.
