I was searching the forums this evening viewing discussions about bmr's when I came across a website called fat2fit numerous times. It seems as though people are saying this is the way to go? Fat2fit subtracts 15% from my tdee giving me the following recommendations:

Sedentary (little or no exercise, desk job) 1715
Lightly Active (light exercise/sports 1-3 days/wk) 1965
Moderately Active (moderate exercise/sports 3-5 days/wk) 2215
Very Active (hard exercise/sports 6-7 days/wk) 2465

My bmr is 1600. My tdee with a lightly active lifestyle is 2100. I've recently bumped my calories up to 1600 from 1320. Now I'm questioning if I should bump them up to the 1715 fat2fit recommends.

Suggestions??

Fat2Fit told me to bump to 1820 --- but that scared the crap out of me so I went with 1720 :)

Here is another site that I used and I kind of ended up with a number between them. (It seemed a little easier to figure out at first too)

Too soon to tell if its working yet, but after 4-5 months on a plateau at 1300/day and eating my exercise back I'm game to try anything. I started about 10 days ago and went up by 3lbs and then down by 4lb.... they say to give it at least 4 weeks to kick in so I'm going to stick with it.

Here is a group that you might find useful:
