Bought into the belief that walking in funny shoes would help you lose weight and are now going to ask for a refund?

Wow, no comments? I was sure this site was full of people that either used or knew someone that used these shoes. Maybe people are too embarrassed to admit it?

I know a few people who bought them... they didn't get a butt lift, but they did get all kinds of knee and ankle pain... I laughed at them all the way to the gym :)

I have thought about buying them but now I'm not going to!

In my lifetime, I've managed to break both ankles, so no - didn't try the roly-poly shoes. I'm dangerous enough in "flats"!!

I know a lady who sprained both of her ankles at the same time wearing those shoes. I avoid them like the plague.

I bought toning shoes. Not Shapeups, though. I didn't think they'd make me lose weight, but at the time, I had a lot of joint pain and knew a lot of people who praised rocker-style shoes. And they were the very comfortable for walking.

I had a pair of shape ups. I did not buy them because I thought they would give me a killer body. I bought them because I was on my feet 9 hours a day and I heard they helped, and they did help. I got rid of them because I kept twisting my ankle lol
  • I wear the shape ups by sketches every day but not for the fact of weight loss. I am a hairstylist and these are the only (ugly) pair of shoes that I have found that make my feet, back, legs feel so much better than a pair of dress up shoes. The salon I work at does not allow tennis shoes but allow the marry Jane shape ups. Imagine that. Haha. But I have worn them for over two years and sadly Skechers have changed them again. Thank God Crews For Shoes has the ugly shoes...

I have the shoes - not because I thought they would do anything to my butt or legs, but because they are the most comfortable shoes I have ever had for walking. I am glad this will bring the price of them down, because I could use a new pair!

I liked my pair. They were the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever worn straight out of the box and would wear them again in a heart-beat. I did think they stretched my legs more than traditional shoes, and my legs did feel more worked, but that could've easily have been the job I was doing as well, and the fact that i was on my feet so much.

I have the Shape Ups and wear them whenever I go for a run. Not because Kim K said so, but because my Gramma didn't like them and gave them to me. I do feel a total difference versus regular runners.

To me they are just another in a long line of scam fitness products. Say they are comfortable, whatever, but don't claim that they will help you get fit when there is absolutely zero science to back it up.

I am just still trying to figure out how the Kardashians became famous. That's a bigger scam than the shoes.

My ankles are weak and my stance is too close at the heels and too far apart at the toes to have used them. I did look though.

I love mine! only cost £10 and are the most comfortable pair of trainers I have ever worn!

Did notice a difference initially when my only walking was exercise but now I am down the gym I dont think they replace the elliptical or squats!

I have a pair, but not because I thought it would do anything for my butt. I had heard several people say that they helped relieve back pain, and I'm always throwing my lower back out, so I got them. So now when my back's out, I don't have to be stuck lying on the couch. I can actually walk around the house and stand at the sink doing dishes, and maybe even take a short walk without wanting to kill myself.

With their big, thick, clunky soles, they're great to wear with those jeans that are just a little bit too long.

I knew a guy in HS that had a pair of those shoes like they had on the show. Funny thing was the guy already had this unbelievable verticle and you would never know it by looking at him. Not sure if the Jimmy shoes made it any better.
