Time to make a change

I have been on and off here for about a year now. But i have decided that it is time to stop lying to myself and start holding myself accountable. Hoping to find some people who may be in the same boat as me and some support through this lifestyle change. My biggest issues are i'm a social eater/drinker and have a hard time finding time to exercise. I know that I need to start making this my priorirty as I only get one life, so i'm hoping to start with small changes to ultimately starting feel more fit and better about my health/body. Thanks in advance for the support!

Awesome Melissa! I know how you feel. It's soooo not easy but nothing is more worthwhile than health. It's the foundation for which everything is built, including relationships, job success, etc. Let me know if there is anything I can do to help. I've lost 30ish pounds over two years. I've since plateaued but I'm no longer overweight. I've learned a lot in my journey that I can share if you ever want any tips from me. I look forward to your support too! Especially with social eating. I struggle with eating too much around my boyfriend. I could definitely use some buddy-support there.0

Good for you! I have the same issue. I do pretty good at home, but if I go out with friends or to a party - it's bingetime! However, I am trying to really be honest with myself, which includes putting my ACTUAL weight in the box each morning, even if I want to assume I just overdid on the wine and cheese the night before. That has helped. I also find if I make myself drink a glass of water before and after each glass of wine, I drink a lot less wine and feel much better the next morning!0

I've been here on and off too, and haven't really utilized any of the 'friend features' ... I'm thinking that the 'social' accountability might help and I'd be happy to support others with their goals too!
The social eating/drinking (and loosing track of the portions) is a huge issue for me! Tips and tricks are welcome!0 -
Welcome! I'm more the stress eater/ social drinker & going through a divorce & child custody issues its hard to not eat myself into oblivion. By using this site (and i post my weight on FB) I'm trying the whole social accountability to help me.
I wish you best of luck & please feel free to add me if you'd like.
